UB Suomi Kiinteistöt has completed the sale of the retail property located at Voimakuja 2 in Vantaa to Kielo which is 100% subsidiary of Nyfosa. The transaction involves a well-established big box retail asset in one of the Helsinki metropolitan area’s most active shopping districts.
UB Suomi Kiinteistöt originally acquired the property in 2020 from a Danish K/S structure. The building was constructed in 2006, offers a lettable area of approximately 5,000 square metres, is fully leased, and holds a BREEAM “Very Good” environmental certification..
The property hosts several prominent tenants, including Intersport (Kesko), Lastentarvike, and Golf Center. It is situated in Tammisto, a vibrant big box retail cluster located near the Helsinki city border and with direct access to Tuusulanväylä. The surrounding area features a broad mix of well-known large-format retailers such as Bauhaus, Citymarket, Power, and Tokmanni, further solidifying Tammisto’s role as a one of the leading destination for big box retail in the capital region.
Simultaneously with the announcement of this transaction, Kielo also disclosed another property sale: Tuotekatu 7 in Raisio, a city located near Turku. The Raisio asset had a negative net operating income at the respective time of divestment.
