NIAM sells the Plaza Alto office property in Aviapolis, Vantaa, to Turku-based private investors Tuomas Kaukinen and Antti Nieminen. The transaction was disclosed in a LinkedIn post by the buyers. Plaza Alto is part of Gate 8, which is located within a large business park area developed between the early 2000s and 2013 near Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
Plaza Alto was completed in 2006. Based on author’s research work, the lettable area of the property is around 4,500 m². The property holds an environmental certification, BREEAM In-Use with a rating of Good, and has an energy performance class D.
The same investors acquired Hills Business Park in Espoo from NIAM in summer 2025. NIAM originally acquired Plaza Alto and Hills Business Park in 2016 as part of a six-property office portfolio from Elo Pension Insurance Company.
