Finnish pension insurance company Veritas has sold five residential properties to Slättö. The properties are located in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, and the portfolio has a good occupancy rate.
According to market sources, the transaction covered 130 apartments. Based on internet research, the assets are located in Etu-Töölö, Lauttasaari, Puustellinmäki near Leppävaara, Toukola near the Arabia area and Viertola near Tikkurila.
“Through the transaction, we are preparing for the pension reform that will enter into force in July. The transaction releases capital that we can use for other investments,” said Heikki Palmu, Head of Real Estate Investments at Veritas.
According to Palmu, Veritas will continue as an active property investor and will also remain active in residential property investments.
