SRV and Balder Finland have signed an agreement for the design and construction of two office buildings in Blue Industry Park, close to the Turku shipyard area. The premises have been fully leased to Finnish cruise ship builder Meyer Turku, which will use the buildings as its new headquarters.

The transaction is structured as a new office development backed by a full-building lease. Balder Finland will act as the investor in the project, SRV will design and build the property, and Meyer Turku will become the tenant of the full premises. The final completion of the transaction is still subject to the building permit becoming legally valid.

The total value of the project is around €38.5 million. SRV expects to record the project in its order backlog in June. The two office tower buildings will have a total area of around 12,000 m², which corresponds to €3,208/m².

Construction is targeted to start in summer 2026 after the building permit has been confirmed, and the premises are expected to be completed in early 2028.

The new headquarters will provide modern, energy-efficient office space for nearly 700 of Meyer Turku’s white-collar employees.

Blue Industry Park is being developed next to the Turku shipyard as a 28-hectare hub for maritime and manufacturing industries. The area is positioned as one of Europe’s leading industrial clusters in its field.
