
Sponda Oy has disposed of the Zeppelin shopping centre in Kempele, in the Oulu region. The buyer is Raahe-based real estate investment company Mypel Oy. Myllymäki Invest Oy is the largest shareholder in the acquiring company, holding over 50% of the ownership. Other shareholders in Mypel Oy include Arvo Sijoitusosuuskunta and a Finnish investor group made up of entrepreneurs. Arvo Sijoitusosuuskunta holds just under 20% of the ownership.
Zeppelin has a total leasable area of 28,000 m² and nearly 100 stores, with anchor tenants including, among others, S Group’s Prisma hypermarket, Dressman, H&M, and Stadium.
Zeppelin is situated in Ylikylä, Kempele next to Highway 4, approximately 12 kilometres south of Oulu city centre.
The parties have not disclosed the purchase price.
