Balder has acquired a modern logistics property of approximately 11,000 m² in Seinäjoki, Finland from Huhtala Logistics Oy. The property is leased by Huhtala Logistics Oy, Kesko Oyj, and Halpahalli Oy.
The logistics center has been developed with an emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability. Geothermal heating serves as the primary heating solution, complemented by waste heat recovery from refrigeration systems. The yard area is equipped with charging infrastructure for both delivery vans and heavy-duty transport vehicles, supporting the electrification of distribution traffic.
Based on research, the property received a 3,000 m² extension with an investment value of EUR 4 million in spring 2025.
