Eden Asunnot, a joint venture of Keva and Taaleri, is proceeding with a new residential project in Niittykumpu, Espoo, where it will develop an apartment building featuring 48 high-quality rental homes. The site is situated on the edge of the peaceful, low-rise Tontunmäki neighbourhood, offering a calm living environment while remaining close to essential services. Niittykumpu Metro Station and the Niitty shopping centre are approximately 600 metres away, and the district is recognised as one of the fastest-growing submarkets in the Helsinki Region.
The building will offer a diverse range of apartments, from compact studios to spacious four-room family units. Most homes will include either a glazed balcony or a private terrace, and all apartments will feature individual cooling to enhance comfort throughout the year. Residents will also enjoy a shared sauna located on the first floor, complete with an adjoining terrace.
The project meets the requirements of the EU Taxonomy and is designed to achieve an A-class energy efficiency rating, in line with Eden’s earlier projects. Heating will be provided through geothermal energy, supporting low emissions and responsible resource use. The property is also being prepared for BREEAM In Use environmental certification.
Construction of the Niittykumpu project will begin immediately, with Hartela Oy serving as the main contractor.
