Keva Acquires Five Residential Properties from the Swedish Literature Society in Finland

Mariankatu asset

Keva has acquired five residential properties from the Swedish Literature Society in Finland (Svenska Litteratursällskapet i Finland, SLS). The buildings are located in the central Helsinki districts of Punavuori, Töölö and Kruununhaka. The parties did not disclose the purchase price.

The portfolio consists of Iso Roobertinkatu 12 and Iso Roobertinkatu 14 in Punavuori, Mechelininkatu 4 and Runeberginkatu 50 in Töölö, and Mariankatu 10 in Kruununhaka. In total, the properties include 181 rental apartments and around ten commercial premises.

SLS, the seller, is a cultural foundation established in 1885, dedicated to preserving and promoting Swedish-language culture and heritage in Finland through research, publications, grants and archival work. As part of a broader review of its property holdings, SLS has decided to shift from direct real estate ownership to investment structures that emphasize indirect real estate exposure. The capital released from the transaction will be allocated to instruments aligned with this approach.
