Balder has acquired the Sokos Hotel Kupittaa property in Turku from Rausanne, the investment company of the Puolimatka family. The asset is located in the Kupittaa district, one of Turku’s main urban areas. Completed in 2020, the hotel features 196 rooms and a total floor area of 8 000 m². It is operated by the Turku Cooperative Society, S-group’s co-operative in the Turku region, and stands immediately next to the Kupittaa railway station. The parties have not disclosed the purchase price or the initial yield associated with the transaction.
