Nordisk Renting has acquired the Tipotie Social and Healthcare Centre in Tampere. Located in the Amuri district, just two kilometres from the city centre, the 13,467 m² property offers modern, high-quality and technically advanced facilities tailored for wellbeing services. The building is fully leased to the Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa (Pirha) under a 20-year lease agreement.

Completed in 2013, the Tipotie property was originally financed through a leasing arrangement. In September 2024, the Tampere City Council decided to redeem the building from Danske Bank for nearly €26 million, securing full ownership. This strategic move allowed the city to prepare the property for a long-term ownership transition that aligns with the continued public use of the facility.

Following a public tender process, the City of Tampere sold the asset to a property company owned by Nordisk Renting Oy. The final sale price was €43 million, corresponding to approximately €3,194 per square metre. The property stands on leasehold land, and the land lease agreement remains valid until 2085.

The sale process attracted strong interest from both domestic and international investors. In total, nine parties submitted bids for the property:

  • Nordisk Renting Oy (winning bidder)
  • Suohki
  • Hemsö
  • Niam
  • eQ
  • CapMan
  • NSF (NREP)
  • Public Property Invest
  • Franklin Templeton (Trevian)

To support the transaction, the City of Tampere was advised by Newsec.
